At EL CLAROSCURO FILMS, the behind the scenes is not a complement: it is an essential part of the cinematic language. It is the territory where ideas take shape, where light is adjusted, the crew breathes as one, and every decision begins to turn into image.

This space reveals the other side of our work: the real pulse of the shoot, the energy of the team in action, the technical precision, and the constant pursuit of aesthetics. Moving cameras, hands shaping light, eyes building frames. Here, you don’t just see the result, but the living process that makes it possible.

Because for us, cinema is not only watched on screen: it is also lived while it is being created.

There are some of the video shoots, video clips, short films, commercials or movies that we have done throughout our professional careers. And there are also many photo shoots we have done, but this is a small selection of some of those photo, video and film works.

Where we do the magic

We all know that “behind the scenes” is where the magic happens in the audiovisual world. It’s where the trick is when -for example- that cinematic atmosphere is created for that shot or that photo.

That’s why we want to share some of those moments. Actually, the most important part of our work is out there, behind the cameras, in what “you can’t see”. Because that’s also where the big decisions are made, such as which lens to use? how to light the scene? how do I shoot/photograph it taking into account how the editing is going to be?
